As most of you will probably know already, some very dedicated people have been working on a translation patch for Fatal Frame IV. Main project website can be found here, with lots of information and extra treats. :)
I've been helping out with some final patch testing and editing, and if nothing dramatic goes wrong, the patch ought to be released very soon! I don't know about you, but I'm excited. Through some technical magic I don't understand, the patch does away with region-locking, so you will be able to play the Japanese disc on a US or PAL Wii, and the patch is extremely easy to use - so easy even I managed it.
There is also a fan-made dub expansion in the works, for those who'd like to play entirely in English, though this will be 100% optional. It's still in the early stages, but you can learn more about it here.
In short, if anybody's been waiting to get a copy of the game, now's a very good time! Members at Beyond the Camera's Lens have been posting discount codes for PlayAsia here for people to use.
