FF3 true ending

fatal_frameI meant to post about this earlier, but better late than never! Recently Emi from Beyond the Camera's Lens asked Makoto Shibata on Twitter which ending of FF3 was the true one, and he answered!
Apparently he and the staff always considered the second ending the true one! This is quite surprising to a lot of people, since previously they've gone with the sadder endings, but everyone likes a happy ending now and again, right? In short:
VIVA KEI AMAKURA!
I think we should celebrate with a Kei picspam in comments! Mio too, since her survival is also confirmed in the second ending! And let's all have fun imagining the wild folklore parties Rei and Miku will throw at their house.
